This cake is 3.5" high. The 6-12" sizes are round, and the slab sizes are rectangular.

I liked the spice flavour, other people eating the cake said that they couldn't see or taste the carrots.
And after having a second slice later, I had to agree. There has to be a balance between the spice and carrot. Otherwise you should change the name to Spice cake and then you dont have to give it a second thought, because no one will be looking for carrot.
This carrot cake is wonderfully moist and the sweetness is just right.
